Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

Booked Solid Technology, a DBA of Clarity House LLC, is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information you voluntarily provide when using our contact form:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • The content of your message

We do not collect payment information, require account registration, or gather information about you without your direct participation.

How We Use Information

Information you submit through our contact form is used solely to:

  • Respond to your inquiry
  • Follow up on your potential engagement with us

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not add you to mailing lists without your explicit consent.

Cookies & Local Storage

This site stores your theme preference (dark or light mode) in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

This site also uses Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies in your browser to distinguish users and sessions. These cookies (e.g., _ga, _ga_*) persist for up to 2 years. If you wish to opt out of Google Analytics tracking, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site. GA4 collects data such as:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referrer information (how you arrived at the site)
  • General geographic region (country/city level)
  • Device type and browser
  • IP address (processed by Google to derive location, then anonymized)

This data is sent to and processed by Google. Google may use this data in accordance with its own privacy policy. We do not use this data to identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by adjusting your browser's cookie settings.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate this website:

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymized usage data. Data is transmitted to Google's servers and governed by Google's privacy policy. See policies.google.com/privacy.

Resend

We use Resend to deliver emails generated from our contact form. When you submit the form, your name, email, and message are transmitted to Resend's servers to send us a notification. Resend's privacy policy is available at resend.com/privacy-policy. Resend's Data Processing Agreement is available at resend.com/dpa.

Vercel

This site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may log basic request metadata (IP addresses, timestamps) for security and operational purposes. See Vercel's privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy. Vercel's Data Processing Agreement is available at vercel.com/legal/dpa.

Umami Analytics

We use Umami to collect privacy-friendly, anonymous usage statistics. Umami does not use cookies and does not track visitors across sites. Data collected includes pages visited, referrer, country, device type, and browser — with no personally identifiable information. This data is transmitted to Umami's servers and is used solely to understand aggregate site usage. Because Umami is cookie-free, it may not require cookie consent in some jurisdictions. We apply this service in accordance with applicable privacy laws. See Umami's privacy policy at umami.is/privacy.

Cloudflare Turnstile

Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection. Turnstile analyzes browser and interaction signals (such as mouse movements, timing, and device characteristics) to distinguish human visitors from automated bots. This processing occurs client-side and data is transmitted to Cloudflare's servers. Turnstile does not set tracking cookies and does not use the data for advertising purposes. See Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. The specific retention periods for each category of data we collect are outlined below.

Contact Form Submissions

Your name, email address, and message content are retained for up to 45 days from the date of submission. This allows us a reasonable window to respond to your inquiry. After this period, your data is deleted unless an active engagement requires further retention.

Analytics Data

Data collected through Google Analytics 4 (page views, session data, device information) is retained for 14 months, which is the maximum standard GA4 retention period. After this period, the data is automatically deleted by Google. You can opt out of analytics tracking at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Email Newsletter Data

Note: Email newsletter functionality is not currently active. No newsletter subscriptions are being collected or processed at this time.

If a newsletter feature is introduced in the future, subscriber email addresses and subscription preferences will be retained until you unsubscribe, plus 30 days. The 30-day grace period ensures that any in-transit messages are delivered and that your unsubscribe request is fully processed across all systems. This policy will be updated when the feature becomes active.

Engagement & Contract Data

If you enter into a consulting engagement or contract with us, records related to that engagement (including communications, contracts, and invoices) are retained for 7 years after the end of the engagement. This period aligns with standard business records retention requirements and applicable tax and legal obligations.

If you would like your data deleted before the end of the applicable retention period, please contact us via our contact page. We will honor your request unless we are legally required to retain the data.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal data
  • Opt out of any future communications from us

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the form on our contact page.

Cross-Border Data Transfers

Booked Solid Technology is based in the United States. If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, please be aware that your personal data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which has not received an adequacy decision from the European Commission. By submitting your data through our contact form or consenting to analytics, you acknowledge this transfer. We rely on your explicit consent and the necessity of the transfer for responding to your inquiry as the legal basis for this cross-border transfer.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe that our processing of your personal data violates the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the EU/EEA member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement. A list of supervisory authorities is available on the European Data Protection Board website.
